When my nephew and new niece asked me if I would be their wedding photographer, I had to catch my breath. Both successful artists in NYC, Will and Alicia know very well not only how to see magic and share stories through art, but they both create amazing beauty in their own lives and in the lives of everyone lucky enough to know and admire them. I’m one of the lucky ones! I only hesitated for a moment before answering their request with an excited, slightly nervous, and very humble, “YES!” I hopped on a plane to San Antonio, Texas, where we enjoyed the perfect location for their wedding day photo shoot, Mission San José. Known as the “Queen of the Missions”, it is full of texture and light, stone walls and wooden beams, archways and corridors and was nothing short of a photographer’s dream! It was a beautiful backdrop for such a beautiful couple, and I am so honored that they chose me to capture the magic of their special day! It would have been much easier to just share the entire wedding album because picking my favorites was really difficult to do, but I did my best! I hope you enjoy a glimpse into our time together and the beauty of their wedding day.
