It is an honor for me to introduce you to Max, Hartland High School senior. I’ve had the privilege of watching Max grow up from a spunky and spirited little boy to the confident and determined young man he is today. He is adventurous, brave and fun loving with a passion for cool cars and living an exciting life. He has faced heavy challenges with amazing strength, beat the odds, and become a shining example of courage for everyone around him. His story is rich and I couldn’t wait to meet up with Max and his family at their beautiful farm to capture him in his element. I even got the chance to go for a thrill ride in his newly restored and very fast 1977 Trans Am! SO MUCH FUN (and slightly scary too)! At the end of the shoot, we took time to hike through a gorgeous wheat field to capture a very special Bontekoe family portrait. I loved the chance to spend time with this wonderful family and am so grateful for the gift of photographing Max. Here’s a little peek into our time together.
